36 Weeks~Playing at the Park, Trying to Crawl, & Mommy's Pot of Gold

We had a fun week with Bella. We took her to the park for the first time and she enjoyed playing on our blanket and swinging with her big brother. She spent lots of time practicing her crawling and has gotten stronger being up on all fours. However, she just likes to turn in circles and go backwards when she is in that position :). She loves playing with her hairbows and pulls them off whenever I put them on her :). On St. Patrick's Day she looked super adorable wearing yellow ruffled bloomers and a shirt that said, "Mommy's Pot of Gold". I dance and tickle her frequently because it causes her to laugh hysterically. What a JOY she is to our family!!

35 Weeks-Happy Screams, Little Cowgirl, Goodbye Baby Kisses,

Seriously-look at that ANGEL sleeping-have you ever seen anything more beautiful? Her eyelashes are insanely long and gorgeous. This week her big brother had COWBOY Day at Preschool and Bella looked like such a cute cowgirl in her Jean Jumper and Cow Print Onesie and Bow. She has begun to scream nonstop all.day.long-from the moment she wakes up at 5 a.m. until she goes to sleep. Now, grant it, they are HAPPY Screams, and we really think she is just trying to talk to us and is discovering her voice. However, the screaming is very, very loud :). This week she tried Beef and Beef Gravy, Turkey and Turkey Gravy, and Chicken and Chicken Gravy Baby food, and she loved them all. On Friday night, Darin and I had our first Date night without her since before she was born. We were only gone for two hours and she did great (I think Mommy had a harder time than Bella with the separation :)). She loves, loves, loves to give Baby Kisses and gave her Daddy a big one before he left for Fort Worth today. Enjoy the pictures this week of our Happy Screamer :-)

8 Months Old

Our Sweet Baby Girl is 8 Months Old and growing more Beautiful and Joyful every day! Here are a few of her current favorites:

Favorite Toy: Her heart-shaped magic wand that makes sounds when she waves it and her Bouncer

Favorite Food: YoBaby Yogurt and Bananas (However, she will eat everything with the exception of peas)

Favorite Music: Praise Baby

Favorite Thing to Do: Snuggle with Mommy, Scream (Happy Screams), and give Baby Kisses

Weight and Height: Approximately 15 lbs and 26 1/2 inches (at her appointment 2 weeks ago)

She laughs the most when: You tickle her tummy, bounce her on your knee (ride the horsey), dance with her, pretty much anything you do makes her smile (she is so joyful!)

34 Weeks~Baby Kisses & Sweet Laughter

Wow! It's hard to believe that it has been 34 weeks of Beauty and Joy! This week Bella was quite the little entertainer as friends came by to visit us in preparation for our upcoming move to Fort Worth. Bella was lavish with her "Baby Kisses". We just ask her, "Give us a Baby Kiss", and she responds by smiling hugely and giving us massive, wet, baby kisses on our face. It is the most precious thing ever! She loves for me to dance with her and likes to "ride the horsey" on my knee. Both things make her laugh hysterically. Her current favorite thing to eat is YoBaby Blueberry Yogurt. She also loves to take bites of Mommy's frozen yogurt at Crazy Yogurt :). We continue to be in awe of God's Goodness in our lives through this sweet girl and her adorable big brother!
