46 Weeks: Visit from Nay-Nay & Papa, Beautiful Smiles, New Shoes & Road Trip with Mommy & Daddy

What a FUN & BUSY week Bella Joy had. Her Nay-Nay and Papa are visiting and she is enjoying playing and snuggling with them. She loves holding onto Papa's credit cards, and I foresee a very spoiled little grandbaby in the near future :). She has been smiling the cutest, biggest, gummiest smiles lately and is just full of spunk and joy! She brings delight to everyone who sees her. Bella joined Darin and I on our 12th Anniversary getaway to Granbury, TX, and she had fun exploring our cottage at the Bed and Breakfast. They were having their annual Memorial Day Craft Fair/Celebrations in the Square and we were able to get a couple of cute onesies, tutus and hairbows for Ms. Bella (b/c a girl can never have too many hairbows :)). Bella has been wearing shoes now that she is trying to walk, and she is just fascinated by them (I think the love of shoes must be hereditary ;-)). She isn't really a fan of wearing hairbows and headbands anymore, and prefers to pull them off and chew on them. Oh, well. I can at least keep them on her long enough for a few cute pictures :).

45 Weeks: Meat & Strawberry Lover, Little Miss Stand-Up Girl, Zoo Trip, & Outside Fun

What a FUN week Bella Joy and our entire family had. We spent lots of time playing in the playroom with Big Brother, and he even put on several puppet shows for Bella-much to her delight! We played outside on the picnic blanket each evening while Jaythan played on his new swingset. Bella stands up almost the entire day now-and does not like to be strapped down. She is on the move and trying to walk. She walked down the length of the couch today holding on, and her little legs are getting so strong. For such a little girl, she sure is strong and can get around quickly! On Saturday, we took a family trip to the Fort Worth Zoo, and she was perfectly content in her stroller enjoy the breeze and being outside. We bought her the cutest butterfly binkie at the Zoo in honor of her first trip there :). Her new favorite foods are organic shaved deli chicken and turkey breast and strawberries. She eats the strawberry until it is pulverized and her entire body is covered in red :). Strawberry-eating definitly requires extra baths :). She is having some separation-anxiety with Mommy lately and did not do well in church nursery this week. It's okay though, because Mommy is enjoying the extra snuggles with her beautiful love. We are still having rough afternoons and nights of teething pain and fever with no teeth to show for it yet :(. We are praying that those little teeth make an appearance very soon.
