22 weeks-Sitting! Snuggling! Joy!

Bella had an exciting week as well enjoyed her big brother's preschool Christmas program and celebrated his 5th birthday. She is blessed to have a very loving big brother and she smiles and laughs whenever he talks with and plays with her. I have a feeling that he will be her hero as she gets older. Nay-Nay and Papa are visiting so she is getting lots of snuggle time with them. She continues to fight the awful teething pain and hasn't been sleeping well at night. But, she still manages to fill our days with smiles and giggles. She sat up in the front of the shopping cart at HEB all by herself for the first time-such a BIG girl!

5 Months Old

Our Sweet Pea is 5 months old! Time is flying by and she is becoming such a big girl! She can sit up by herself now for short periods of time; she can hold and take out her binkie on her own; and she is an expert at turning over. She delights us with bursts of giggles whenever we kiss her neck and tummy. As you can tell by this month's pictures, she LOVES her feet. She plays with them, puts them in her mouth, and kicks them wildly. What a JOY our baby girl is!!

21 Weeks-Teething, Shots, Sitting up, and a Sad Baby

Our sweet girl had a rough week. Her gums are super swollen due to teething and she is in quite a bit of pain. I tried to give her infant tylenol and she threw it up. She will chew on teethers, her fist, blankets, binkies, our fingers, and basically anything to help relieve the pain. She also had her four month shots and did not like them one bit (I think Mommy cried as much as she did :(). But, despite the pain and rough moments, she still found time to giggle when we kissed and tickled her belly :). She can pretty much sit up all by herself now! She turned five months old on Thursday. She hasn't been sleeping well due to the teething pain so we pray that the teeth break through soon so that she and Mommy can get much needed rest.

20 Weeks...Lots of Laughter

Bella's week was full of laughter. We discovered that she is ticklish,and when I gently tickle her belly and neck she starts to giggle. She was full of smiles and laughter all week long and loves it when I give her "baby kisses" all over her face and neck. What a JOY she is to our hearts!!

Family Pictures in North Carolina

While in North Carolina for Thanksgiving, our family had portraits made by Aunt Heather at Sears. Bella was a little model and gave us the sweetest grins. She even had pictures taken holding her little Vera Bradley purse :). She and her Handsome Big Brother, Jaythan, did a terrific job posing for the camera. Such precious memories we made!!
