Our sweet baby girl is one week away from turning 1! This year has gone by so quickly-filled with so much joy and love!! Bella had a fun start to the week with a trip to Story Time at the library. She stole the show as she crawled up and sat beside of the storyteller, laughing and dancing, and entertaining all the chidren. On Wednesday night, she developed a high fever and it lasted until Saturday with temps spiking at 103 degrees several times. It was a very scary few days with little sleep. She was extremely lethargic and cried nonstop. I took her to the Dr and he said she had a viral cold that had to run its course. Praise God, the fever is gone today and she is more joyful and playful. She has been super talkative this week-saying several new words like "Nana" for Banana, "tickle" (b/c I say tickle tickle when I play with her), and "Jah Jah" for Jaythan. She is starting to say Dada and Mama very clearly and distinctly at the appropriate times as well. She likes to make other sounds too, but we haven't quite figured out what she is taking about :). Bella doesn't show much interest in television with the exception of Yo Gabba Gabba which she loves. However, this week she was fascinated with the Gymnastic Olympic Trials and couldn't stop smiling, laughing and dancing. We may have a future gymnast. Happy Almost Birthday, Precious Bella. We love you SO much!!
BEAUTIFUL JOY... This blog is dedicated to our precious baby girl, our miracle, Bella Joy. We lost Bella's Beautiful sister, Savannah Grace, to a rare chromosome disorder called triploidy two years ago. God has overwhelmed us with His love, His healing power in our lives, and His ability to bring BEAUTY FROM ASHES AND JOY IN THE MORNING. This blog will chronicle sweet Bella's Life-a Testimony to the AMAZING GOODNESS OF OUR GREAT GOD.
Isaiah 61:2-3
Isaiah 61:2-3 "He has sent me to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."
