11 Months Old

Happy 11 Months Bella Joy! As you can tell from the POOR quality of this month's photos, it is impossible to get good quality pictures as our baby girl does not stay still. Two of her favorite things as you can see is her Princess Bible (she loves to reach up into her bookcase, pull it down, and flip through the pages), and shoes (every little girl loves shoes!). This year has flown by on the wings of JOY, and we are fast approaching our baby girl's 1st birthday.  I am having fun planning a butterfly-themed party to celebrate the beauty from ashes and joy in the morning that God has given us through our precious Bella.

Bella still doesn't have any teeth, but her gums remain super swollen and red :-(. Not having teeth doesn't slow her down eating. She loves real food now with her favorites being grapes, strawberries, deli turkey and chicken, bananas, baked potatoes, and crackers. She is clapping, waving, standing up all by herself, crawling at lightening speed, crawling up the stairs, and trying to walk (she can walk assisted). She says Mama, Dada, Papa, and Hi.

She loves to dance to all music (even the sound of hammering :)). Her favorite toys are her bounce and spin zebra, Melissa & Doug Chunky puzzles, her Laugh & Learn Purse with accessories, and credit cards. Yes, I said credit cards. She loves to pull them out of my wallet and is content holding and playing with them for endless amounts of time. She even took a Target gift card out of my purse last week and swiped it in the card reader at Kroger all by herself (her Daddy is going to be in trouble in a few years :)).

She loves to reach out to you for you to pick her up and is very preferential to Mommy right now. She does not like for Mommy to leave the room or give her to anyone else to hold. She loves being outside watching her big brother play, splashing in her little pink swimming pool, and swinging on the porch swing with Mommy and Daddy.

Bella brings us healing, joy, and hope daily. We are forever blessed to be her parents. God has truly sent us the spunkiest little blessing who is full of pure joy and delight!
