50 Weeks: Pool Time, Library Trip, Visit with Senior Friends, & Cheering for Big Brother at his 1st T-Ball Game

Such a fun week we had! Bella enjoyed some pool time after church. She loved playing in her little pink pool, and is fascinated with taking her princess dolls and dropping them out of the pool, picking them back up and doing it all over and over again :-). She also enjoyed swimming in the big pool with her Daddy and Big Brother. Sunday was Father's Day, and Bella gave the Best Daddy ever lots of extra kisses and snuggles. On Tuesday, I took Bella and Jaythan to visit two of my very dear Senior friends from my time as the director at the Keller Senior Center. On Wednesday, the children and I visited the local library here in our new town. Jaythan got his very first library card. Bella enjoyed playing in the children's area with the books and puzzles. She absolutely loves to be read to, and she enjoys turning the pages in books and listening to books that make music. On Saturday, Bella cheered her big brother on in his very first Tball Game. He did a great job, and we were all so very proud of him. We finished the week by attending a Care Bear Party for a new friend from church of Jaythan and Bella's. Bella devoured lots of strawberries at the party, and she enjoyed playing with all of the girls' toys.

Bella's current favorite toys are her plastic princess dolls, her little tykes pink race car, remote controls, our shoes, puzzles, and books. She loves to move her tongue across her lips back and forth and smile widely at you when you look at her. It is absolutely adorable! She is standing for longer periods of time unassisted. Even though she had a painful week of teething (fever, runny nose, cough, and fussiness), she remains a joy and delight to everyone who sees her. We are blessed!
